Bamford and Lambert would be excellent. Would soften the blow of losing Ayew if that part of the info is also true.

Who really knows! The info came from a reiable source who has been right a few times before - this was true as of yesterday afternoon. Things change so fast though that anything could happen. It sounds reasonable as both players appear gettable.  Lambert/Gestede and Bamford would be a really decent combo, but would need some kind of width in addition to the FBs

Would not wan't Lambert, he has turned us down in the past and has a fantastic record of 3 premier league goals in his last 44 appearances, he is also 34 which means he will not be getting any better. Old player out of form, would most likely be an horrible signing.

Well hopefully Guzan will be off to Boro today and fingers crossed this will signal a mass exodus of the shite from last season. Lescott, Richards, Sinclair, Sanchez, Bacuna are on my wishlist of leavers.

Gabby?

Mourinho has (according to reports...) told (Bastian Schweinsteiger)  Adnan Januzaj, Tim Fosu-Mensah, Paddy McNair, Tyler Blackett, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Andreas Pereira, Will Keane and James Wilson o find new clubs. Either permanent or on loan.

Anyone worth scavenging?

We really need to act swiftly when clubs like the above decide who they are willing to ship out for a season or longer. We might not want all of them and no doubt some of them would not want to come to us but we must look seriously at securing loan deals from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool when the opportunity arises.

Give it a rest, at least wait to cane him in every thread you can until Ayew or Amavi have been signed by another club.

He truly can not wait for them to leave.

Ayew and Amavi will definitely stay! We'll get striker but be confident with the manager team knowing what to do! - Tony XIa Juy 22nd

Honestly not sure why you're a Villa fan.

In any case, **** yawn.

Still think we'll get Kodjia amd Bamford.

Would love that. Plus Traore on loan from Chelsea, looked quality when he got games last season. Don't know if he's in Conte's plans or not.

Would absolutely love Bamford! Think he's the type of striker that would thrive with us! Here's hoping we get him. John Swift went to Reading on a permanent deal earlier this window, so I guess Chelsea would be willing to sell him

Is it any wonder, Richard, that you get the reaction from other posters that you do get, with this sort of post.
