  1. Impact sub. Someone who gives us pace and width. Something we don't have a lot of.
  2. Simply need to replace Adama when he leaves! We're already bare on wingers, can't expect to do well when we lack pace and Green is really our only out and out winger. So we need a good winger!
  3. GK Gollini (Bunn) RB Richards (Hutton, Bacuna) RCB Elphick (Okore, Toner) LCB Chester (Baker, Lescott, for now) LB Amavi (Cissokho) RCDM Westwood (Gardner, Lyden) LCDM Jedinak (Tishibola) RAM Ayew (Adama) CAM/CF McCormack (Veretout) LAM Grealish (Green) ST Gestede (RHM, Kozak) Would really like another striker as I still don't trust Rudy to lead the line, but on the whole that team should get us play offs at least!

    Mile Jedinak

Jedinak would be a great signing for us. He'd be the icing on the cake when it comes to the mentality shift. Him and Elphick won't take any passengers lightly this season! Love this signing, gives us more steel in midfield and has shown he is premier league quality, let alone championship. £4m is absolutely nothing this transfer window, and even if he's good for one season, if he gets us back up it'll be worth the investment.
  5. It seemed unreasonable you to use his display yesterday as an example of how he needs to improve. Even though I do agree he has a lot to show and he needs to step up.
  6. I know he should've got at least a hat trick in the 10 mins he came on for. What's he doing???
  7. Last 5/6 years where he was recovering from injury/didn't get much first team opportunity. Give him a run of games at least before you judge him off one performance in a new team. It's harsh to write him off especially when it was his first start in 3 years.
  8. We should write him off after having a bad game? Let's forget all of his good work at Forest over the last 2 years and sell him on? Think people on here are over reacting. Let's judge him at least after a string of games in the team.
  9. I think this highlights how inept Gestede is up front for us. We need a striker like a Abel Hernandez who can lead the line, but also gives us movement. Don't think we really have the players to play with a target man. Also how Grealish didn't get a start is beyond me has been our best player in pre season, but only gets 10 minutes? Someone like Bacuna who has been consistently poor gets a start?
  10. Think we've needed a winger since Downing left! If lescott goes I think CB becomes priority need 4 good centre backs and toner as a fourth choice just isn't ready yet in my opinion. Right back I don't think is really much of a worry Hutton, Richards and Bacuna are fine at this level I guess.

    Carles Gil

Completely disagree with everything you've said but no point arguing with you, we're not going to change each other's views.

Think if you actually looked at the games Grealish was a far bigger driving force for us and effected the games more than Bacuna did. Didn't he lose his place to Hutton for a few games after. Are you seriously arguing that Bacuna 1) played a bigger role in keeping us up than Grealish 2) is as good as Grealish??

The season before last when Grealish came in and turned our season around? When we were playing through Delph, Benteke and Grealish and Bacuna was a make shift right back and effected very little. He didn't play a big role at all. Knuckling down and getting on with the task? Is this task looking very poor for us in pre season? Jack has been a top performer in pre season whereas Bacuna has looked awful. Jack should rightfully get more leighway because he has shown to be about a million times better than Bacuna has and is a million times better as a player.

Grealish has shown he can be a very good and big player for us. Bacuna has shown us all to be frustratingly shite and has just regressed and not developed since making his debut. Grealish has shown maturity in the pre season, I think we as the fans can appreciate his growth in character. So the fact he's younger, better and is one of our own means he gets are leighway might not be fair, but that's life. On Carles Gil, I've always quite liked him. Maybe playing him rm didn't really suit him as I've always thought he was a CAM but I always felt he could produce a bit of magic when he got the ball. He worked hard, and gave his all but ultimately it didn't quite work out. Do wish him well though and I don't think he's the type of player to refuse to play.

    Adama Traore

He is an absolute joy to watch, just has so much ability! Baffled me why he didn't start last season, I only hope he plays this season. He's an absolute handful
  16. Big statement of intent this for us if it goes through. A win now mentality and I like it. This is a risk I like, don't really care about his age or the price, he's a proven goal scorer in this league and is miles better than what we have. Improves our team massively and solves a big problem for us!

    Brad Guzan

Wish Brad all the best tbf. Always looked like he cared when he played and he was good for the Lambert years. Shame about his decline, but good luck to him at Boro.
  18. Would absolutely love Bamford! Think he's the type of striker that would thrive with us! Here's hoping we get him. John Swift went to Reading on a permanent deal earlier this window, so I guess Chelsea would be willing to sell him
  19. None the less has impressed and they certainly want him back. Experience would be nice, these two have shown they are good enough for this level. Even so I'd imagine if we lose Westwood and/or Gana we'd bring someone in.
  20. Gardner and Tish are proven quality in the Championship. Gardner has been a revelation at Forest the last 2 years and Tish was a massive reason why Reading started the season so well before his injury. I for one won't be too concerned if this is the starting midfield.
  21. Absolutely disagree with this. Misplaced a few passes but on the whole was efficient in possession, controlled the game well and used the ball well when he had it. Defensively was good enough, put in a few good tackles. He looked classy yesterday and was a big reason why we dictated the pace of the game.
  22. Okore is light years ahead of Baker as a centre back. It'll be incredibly frustrating if Baker does get the nod. We always saw the best of Clark when he was partnered with Okore so I can't see why Elphick can't link well with him too.
  23. I hate him, hate everything about him. Hate his set pieces, hate his crosses from deep, hate the way he kicks a football, hate his stupid hair and I hate his stupid smile. Hope we get rid of him, he's useless just can't stand him. Get rid please!
