Transfer Speculation January 2016

Interesting to hear Sherwood saying on Sky that the way we make transfers is no different than any other club.

More evidence that the furore made around our so called committee was all fuelled from one or two newspaper "reports".

I saw this. I thought the question was fully loaded to try and make more headlines about our plight.

'Despite new chairman, Tim Sherwood says complicated transfer procedures are the reason Villa have signed NO ONE in January.'

Thought Tim handled the whole gig really well.

Club have messed up AGAIN transfers should have ready to signed when the window opened not during the window. Newcastle and Bournemouth spending £20 million whilst we sit on our hands doing nothing.

Bournemouth also loaned Iturbe (a £17m winger).

Adobe scored today and could've been great for us.

And one or two members of ex staff...

We are not only desperate for a striker, but we are desperate for one with pace.

Our team is simply not creative enough and we saw from that word removed Vardy that someone with pace can create chances for themselves and turn a bad pass, or hopeful lump forward into a chance.

Given that we aren't going to attract a lot of players in our predicament, I'm warming to an earlier suggestion of the boy from palace, Gayle is it?

Gayle would be a great shout as he has pace and can beat man.

With Ayew & Gestede/Kozak he could certainly help our goal scoring situation

Oh not quite nothing, we've brought in a useless part time chairman and we are trying to cut the playing wage bill.

Still, they aren't frightened of relegation so thats okay.
