rodders0223
Good move for him, getting games as a young goalkeeper is bloody hard. No use going somewhere where he is going to be a No.

You could play in goals in an U23...or even Nyland ffs. It's pretty much non contact.

It’s not non contact, far from it, the standard is more than decent. Yes, the majority won’t make it in to the first team at this football club but they will have good careers in the game. It is not solely about producing players for our first team, of course that is the ultimate goal but very few actually achieve it. We produce an awful lot of players that aren’t good enough for this football club but have good careers elsewhere. There are of course a select few that are good enough for this football club
mikeyp102
Seems a very big drop down. Not sure he’ll learn much there.

Dr_Pangloss
Seems like too far of a step down, you'd imagine league two or conference would have been an option. Edited December 23, 2018 by Dr_Pangloss
VillaChris
Reminds me of when Siergist was getting loaned out to likes of Tamworth. Really if he had any hope of playing for us he needs to be loaned to similar level that Steer is at (and it seems Jed's chance of being number 1 has gone now). If Charlton go up we'll probably let him go there permanently.

Hornso
After seeing he hasn't played Stratford's last two matches I did some digging and it seems he has been recalled by Villa/his loan is finished. Is that all it was, to help over the Christmas period or does a bigger loan move await?

NeilS
Gone to Livingstone on loan, as per OS. Hopefully this will be a better loan for him, and prove whether he stands a chance of making it at the top level. Sarkic on Loan Matija Sarkic has joined Livingston for the 2019/20 campaign. The goalkeeper, who has been a prominent figure in our U23s set-up and is frequently involved in first-team preparations, heads to the Scottish Premiership on a season-long loan deal. Good luck, Matija.
sir_gary_cahill
Thanks chaps, the loan will stand him in good stead providing he gets minutes, I still have high hopes for him, very promising keeper
John
He can get games up there and come back to us with some first team experience. A good move for both club and player.
