Jimmy Rimmer was 5 foot 11 inches and I think we would all take him if he was available now particularly as I would guess that this lad is more comfortable with the ball at his feet than Jim was or Brad is. VillaJ100 Posted September 2, 2015 Share Posted September 2, 2015 I heard a story once that a certain russian-owned London club have a policy where any promising young goalkeepers in the academy have a bone in their wrist measured, apparently it's fully formed by the age of 12 and it's a very accurate predictor of height, and if this test shows they will be under 6'2'' they are released, even if they are quality.
