Condimentalist
I'd play Okore and Vlaar at that back on the basis that Baker tends to get done by quick, skillful players, of which Sterling especially is one, but Sturridge, Coutinho and even Ibe could cause trouble. Wainy316
Baker had the game of his life against Liverpool earlier this season.
Nigel Posted April 14, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted April 14, 2015 There will be a lot of pressure on Liverpool to win this game. Its our players job not to make it easy for them. This in mind I wouldnt start with Richardson as he is the most likely to give them an opening on current form. If he does play Sterrling should book his next round of contract talks for directly after the game.

villanwesty88
Is there any chance Arsenal are going to Arsenal it up against Reading? Anything is possible. I think it would take a red card for Arsenal and for them to have a big off day!

Hutton...Vlaar....Okore.....Lowton ........Delph....Cleverly..... ......Grealish...................Sinclair... ...........Benteke.....Agbonlahor... I'd probably play Bacuna RB and Hutton LB. If we could put that team out I'd be very happy. Can't see Gabby and Sinclair being fit though.
barryod11
At the moment I am most nervous about any injury updates from Friday's pre-match conference. Really hope Gabby is fit...I see this as the perfect game for him. Especially if Liverpool attack us from the off and we have his pace on the counter attack. dont_do_it_doug.
Is there any chance Arsenal are going to Arsenal it up against Reading? They were crap against Burnley, but they are on one hell of a run. We can beat Liverpool, obviously. They and Spurs are in a similar position for a reason and that Liverpool defence is verging on comical at times. I don't think we will because they are the better team but I give us a better chance than the 5/1 the bookies are offering. I wouldn't be surprised to see a score draw and us not quite have the legs in extra time, but our confidence is high and we have a great shot. Really looking forward to it. I'm taking an easy week at work in preparation. It is the motto after all...

Just hope Weimann doesn't start as he doesn't deserve to on recent form. At least Bacuna and N'zogbia have created goals

Ponky
We really have nothing to lose in this game. All the pressure is on Liverpool and you only have to go back to their Chelsea game last season to know how they handle pressure.
Raver50032
Baker's treat... <get it?> Surely he's due a goal from defence... Sorry Troon - I missed your post lol Edited April 15, 2015 by Raver50032
Stevo985 Posted April 15, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted April 15, 2015 I'm in a dilemma about Arsenal. If we win, then I'd love Arsenal to have ballsed it up against Reading. If we lose, then I'd rather Arsenal went through as I can't face Liverpool winning it
nazvfc
Not overly concerned with playing these. They'll be more worried about our upturn in form. Villa win. Yep I work in London with actual scousers and they ARE worried about playing us. This is not going to be a one-sided match. Just feel there will be one goal in it between the teams. lexicon
I'm stupidly optimistic about this one. No idea why but a good feeling going into the game - we can do this.
samjp26
Hope Clark and Gabby make it back for the game, and as much as I want to see Bacuna play I don't think he'll be able to go up against Sterling at right back.
