Dr_Pangloss Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 To be fair, Lambert is a crafty player who can drop off and create something, he could probably compliment Benteke quite well if played together. Alternatively, he can replace Benteke and at this stage would probably do a lot more than Benteke based on his performances of late. At 33, £5m doesn't represent the best value, but he would probably deliver something over the short time and last time I checked, really do need something for the short term. Judging by a fair few fans forums of theirs, the general concencus is "let him go, he's better than simply sitting on our bench, £4-5m is good value"Pete Colley on SSN just poo-pooed the Lambert link unfortunately.
