deeps
At least we'd win more penalties for Benteke to miss We wouldn't his dives wouldn't work outside of old Trafford Worked in a villa kit if I remember rightly.
Popular Post Spoony
Now I'm not posting for effect or anything, but I was proper anti-Young coming back. Like, furiously so. Then I thought "actually, he's so much better than what we have that we'd be mad not to take him back". Then someone on Twitter posted this and it re-boiled my ****. I never want him near Villa Park in anything other than his scummy red kit for rocket polishers. What you see there is our homegrown youngster Ciaran Clark, who has worked his tits off all season for the club who gave him everything, being completely done over by a streak of **** Man Utd player whose stature in the game was MADE by the very club who he is CHEATING against. He can **** right off. He could be as good as Messi for all I care, I NEVER want him in a Villa shirt again. briny_ear
Can't really see Man U letting Young go out on loan. He's been putting in some good performances for them and they probably need him to get out of their current dip of form. Anyway, he's injured - no return date according to physioroom. myko
Was my favourite player for a long time, still liked him at United - until he made that dive. Absolutely disgraceful.
poitier
I think we was just trying to earn himself a yellow card, there was no way he could seriously have expected the ref to buy that.
Butterfingers
In fairness, his diving for us probably won us a few goals via penalties & free kicks. I agree with the poster a couple of posts up-I never wanted him back but he IS so much better than what we've got. It would improve the team & that's the important thing. I don't think he's quite the player that he was, I don't think we could get anywhere near his wages & I don't think United are looking to loan him out anyway. All a bit hypothetical as he's going nowhere.

Popular Post StefanAVFC
I find it a little sad to be honest that some people are consistently happy to constantly moan, slag off, put down and complain about the players that are here; that are putting in a shift for the club and pretty much give 100%, yet when a link to this odious, cheating, complete toe-rag comes around, the same people are not only queuing up to tug him off, but also using it as another opportunity to have a pop at the current playing squad. yes I'm aware that's a huge sentence.
Big_John_10
Have him back in a heartbeat. Young or albrighton? I know who I want to watch play football wearing a villa shirt. Absolutely no chance of it happening though.

Absolutely no chance of it happening though. Yep different class. I don't understand the hatred towards Young as he was a very good player for us! Much better than what we have now! Yes he dives but so do many other footballers. That late winner against Everton when we won 3-2 is the one of my highlights in recent years!

Cliffy Biro
Shouldn't the title be Ashley Young (Prick) ?
rodigan
is there even one miniscule reason why AY would want to come back to Villa, as opposed to any of the other bottom 12 clubs? i can't even think of one... thunderball
Arrogant, big time time Charlie. He's the epitome of what gives Premier League footballers a bad name, he's like David Bentley, good for a bit, made the big move and thought he'd made it. Had to specialise in cheating to give him a look in. He's yesterday's man, and a bad smell, no thanks

Was a brilliant player during his time at us, believed his own hype far too much, went off the boil and now dives for a living. No thanks! Stevo985 Posted January 10, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted January 10, 2014 I'd take him back too, but it's not going to happen. I have no problem with the way he left us, he never kicked up a fuss or disrespected the club like some lesser players have done, and we got a good fee for him with a year on his contract. Yes he's a diving little scrote, always has been. I don't take it personally that he did it against us, it's just part of his game, sadly. He's still considerably better than what we have, although I do think an AM is more of a priority and would rather see resources spent there. He could play AM for us though. That's not his best position and he was never as good there as he was on the left for us, but he'd do a better job as an AM than anyone else in our team right now.
