The_Rev
If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. Oh alright then. Hey kids, speak your mind, but if you get racially abused for it, well tough shit. "Why does being good at something, whether sport or music or anything, disentitle you to be treated like everyone else? Other people say, 'if you don't like it, you should leave'. Surely we should be saying, 'if the abuser is abusing the system, they should leave'.” Brian Moore As you appear to have missed it, click here. dont_do_it_doug.
I've long thought that people should have an online identity that's used across all sites. There are security issues with that but then you recruit and pay for the best internet experts out there to combat it. There would have to be exceptions obviously, porn sites namely because you have to entitle people to their harmless depravities but I wouldnt have in issue with having a single inline persona for your everyday sites, retail, forums, info & govt sites etc What is this, The DDR?

The 46-year-old former striker was due to host his new show live from the club followed by an exclusive question and answer. But Collymore, who said he wanted to be honest about his mental health, was unable to attend as he was ‘getting worse by the week’, the Sunday People can reveal. His statement read: “I wanted to apologise to the ladies and gents at Weston who were due to see me doing a live Call Collymore and question and answer today. “Unfortunately my mental health is very poor at the moment so although I wanted to come today regardless and see everyone, I’m unable to get there today. “I always promised via Twitter to be honest about my mental health journey and although today it was tempting to say nothing and ride this bout through I have been poorly now on and off all season and unfortunately getting worse by the week. “My precious exercise has lessened and 18 hour days in bed have become my norm with suicidal feelings never far away. Sad, but true. “The past eight years I have had a solid, disciplined regime work and exercise which have given me stability, and as anyone with depression knows, a routine is a central plank of being well. “This season has seen several big changes in my life, so that routine has been disrupted, providing fertile ground for depression to set in. VillaChris
O.K. Looks like the loss of his regular commentating gig on Talksport has hit hard. As someone who to a lesser extent needs routine in my life, I can see how this would send him into difficulties so hope he can get through alright. He's had issues in the past as he's been off TS for a few weeks here and there but 18 hour days in Bed isn't a great sign. Was only reading his column in the People a few hours ago.

Guest av1
Why did he lose his job at TS? He seemed quite passionate and his honest, if sometimes controversial opinions are absolutely perfect for a radio station that bait people into calling up the show. Its why Adrian bloody Durham has still got a job.

TS was take over by Murdoch Corp, who then (i believe) withdrew the contract offer to him, probably down to his views on the Sun newspaper over Hillsborough Edited March 5, 2017 by Xela

DCJonah
Was the only man in the media to consistently put pressure on Lerner and talk about the damage he was doing, while others continued to ignore the story and the real issues. Fair play to him for that. I wish him well, hope he gets better soon.
