I think the Stoke team of the mid 70s would be a nearer comparison when they had the likes of Alan Hudson, Geoff Hurst, Peter Shilton and Jimmy Greenhoff in their team. The days of hoofball ended when another manager from Scotland left us supernova26.

Who the heck voted yes? Did Glaston the Spurs fan make two new accounts and vote three times? Does Con have a heat map proving we are like Stoke? Seriously, Nothing reminds me of Stoke in the way Villa play at all

 

I also watched Rovers during the Big Sam days and Villa don't play anything like that.

 

 

(I actually like Con's posts though I'm just joking here)

We probably have the smallest midfield in the Premier League...we've only got a few big strikers and I haven't seen Kozac play but Benteke and Helenius are BOTH better with the ball at their feet.
