VillaChris Posted August 7, 2013 Share Posted August 7, 2013 Our corners have been shite since Young left, would be great to have a decent set piece expert in the squad. they werent really great when he was here either, I remember some of his deliveries near the end were hopeless. they became shit when Laursen left as he would attack anything in the air I think we still scored a few in 09/10 while Carew was interested but you're right they went to shite in 10/11 when under new management he seemed to be told to just float them in which I never understood. KEA seemed to be taking a few against Walsall for some reason but currently the best at the club is Westwood given Benteke scored from a couple of his deliveries last season. villaglint Posted August 8, 2013 Share Posted August 8, 2013 What I really like about him is he looks absolute lightning on the counter attack which is a real weapon for us with our front 3. Salivating at the thought of us getting even better at that aspect of the game. However he also looks to have a bit of trickery and vision to unlock a tight defence which is the weakest element of our attacking play.
