He'll get lost in the ineptitude of it all. It's much of a muchness who they appoint. The club is well and truly broken and there is no modern footballing infrastructure at the club. They'll float around the top 4/6 just based on inertia, might win a cup through luck but that's about it.

The club needs a radical overhaul. Hopefullly it doesn't get one though.

On the one hand Rangnick had a very tough hand dealt to him.

He came in mid season to an underperforming, overpaid squad. He was a substitute teacher if you will. A stop gap, thus his  ideas and ideologies would be very hard to implement on a squad likely to have zero buy in to what he was trying to do. An aging squad in places , a lot of players out of contract and mentally checked out. It was a tough job.

On the other hand, he was totally and completely ****ing ***t. An absolute clown.

Keep on as a consultant? I wouldn't keep him on to mop the drains.

I think the issue with Rangnick was the hype and ego he brought in with him, he came in as a guru and had eyes on the job himself

The teams he have beat are not really top ten teams, Norwich x2, Burnley, us, Brighton, Brentford, Watford, Leeds, West Ham and Spurs

changed it all in January

the manager is the last one in, lots of movement behind the scenes before he came

Yeah, that's true. They did make changes, but whether it'll work effectively or also get lost among the official noodle partner/social media survey results and so on remains to be seen.

banter fc no longer want to play that game

They are overselling it.  Manchester United second last season. They finished above Liverpool.  However, there’s some crazy high bar that’s been set where people expect Manchester United to win the league three years out of every four because that’s what happened under Fergie that now we are expected to feel sympathy for the ‘long suffering’ bastards?

Pogba’s injury recovery will be about 4 weeks which conveniently takes him right up to the end of the season, where he’ll be fully fit to sign for someone else. What are the chances?

Genuinely wouldn't be bothered. The guy is an absolute fraud. Some decent games when he wants

Probably the biggest flop of all time in transfer terms

It’s also 5 years since they last won a trophy and almost 10 for the league. Having spent a billion pounds in that time, adding to an already strong squad, you can see why fans would be frustrated with that return on investment.

What’s going on at United? Rangnick appointed Austria boss on a 2 year deal… but is still going go also do the United “consultancy” job for 2 years too.

Sounds like it’s still a circus behind the scenes at OT.
