tonyh29
my client in the NL has just given me another vegan product for testing .. Vegan Cola Bottles , no less .. on one hand its thank you for the money , but on the other hand it pisses me off that i'm encouraging more of this vegan fad nonsense interestingly , I tested vegan flying saucers for them the other month and they have a much harder texture , which , say it quietly , actually improves the product .. I'm noticing it in a lot of the vegan stuff I've been testing lately , guess it must be something in the whole manufacturing process ?

Woah.. why would normal cola bottles contain animal stuff anyway? Do they use fats or something, to melt them together? Was wondering why I found a cow rib in my Dr Pepper the other day! I’m guessing a cola bottle sweet is 49% sugar 49% pig jelly, 1.5% preservative, 0.4% flavourings, 0.1% colour **googled it** I was pretty much there but I left out…. Beeswax! It was found that those whose diet largely revolved around spinach would develop a strange speaking manner, become dependent on tobacco, be prone to acts of violence in order to solve conflict and deploy a patriarchal dominance in their relationships, whereby their partner would be treated like property. The whole thing reeked of toxic masculinity. Whereas the same study found those who avoided spinach had a much more amiable outlook on life, they were far more easy going. Admittedly this would often lead to a rather lacklustre approach to paying for goods -particularly other foodstuffs - in a timely fashion. But they would gladly provide remuneration by the following week, (typically Tuesday). Or so they would say. Spinach is never the answer 1

Cochineal is another ingredient in certain foodstuffs including sweeties, to give it a reddish colour (think, red skittles, some red fizzy pop, syrups, food colourings, yogurts, ice cream etc). Also used in cosmetics as well. To quote Britannica - https://www.britannica.com/technology/cochineal "red dyestuff consisting of the dried, pulverised bodies of certain female scale insects" Lovely stuff.

You realise that £6 wasn’t a realistic fare in the first place. You know the old adage that if it looks too good to be true then it very probably is too good to be true Only lost $5.6 Billion in the first three months of the year, shares down in the $23 range when they sold at $65 when they went to market. Investors are starting to realise it’s a turkey.

choffer Posted May 17, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted May 17, 2022 Looking for a hotel for one night in Cardiff. Expecting to pay about £150 for a night but the cheapest is more than twice that! Airbnb is even worse. To stay in someone’s box room up a valley somewhere is a couple of hundred quid. The world’s gone mad.
