Women do it all the time. They call it "auburn".

(To be fair, the light in that picture makes her hair look far more carroty than it normally does).

EDIT: Also, she's Bulgarian.

Yeah the history aspect is one of the things I do like about travel.

Only did that cheap package tour to Turkey the other week because of the trips to Aphrodisias and Ephesus, etc. Amazing places.

I've mentioned before in another thread that I was really impressed with Turkey

I did Ephesus  ( and the Virgin Mary's house just down the road  ) , Troy and Gallipoli  and of course Istanbul .. missed out on Aphrodisias  .. that will teach me not to spend longer in a place

The Ephesus  site was really impressive  , Cleopatra had her sister killed there  .. proper history

Aphrodisias is just as incredible as Ephesus. The chariot racing stadium is still intact, and it's HUUUUGE:

However, we are now going  :offtopic:  for this thread!

Tsk. Saw one.

Thanks Mooney - what a howler!

Living down South for long enough I've taken to saying "see" instead of "saw". As in "I see a helicopter over London Bridge today".

It's an evolution of language. **** it, knock yourself out MV.

"See" for past tense?

For the 'seen' to be correct, it has to be preceded by 'have' or 'has'.

So in my usage it has to be seen.

Best I ever saw.

Best I have ever seen.

But it is definitely on topic.  :D

I pay the British Computer Society a not-insigificant amount of money each year, aside from bi-monthly magazines extolling the virtues of whatever technological bandwagon is doing the rounds (and usually the hype train has not only left, but everyone else is already onto why it is so awful and more trouble than it's worth etc etc) they also produce a number of blogs with topics ranging from project management to legacy systems to getting people to buy their ipad app and learn how to do computering like the pros.

This week, 12 things you should know about DSL, including such nuggets as why it's quicker than using a dial up modem, or did you know you can use the internet and the phone at the same time.

Good to see my membership fee is so well used at the cutting edge of promoting the industry... GAH!
