Top trolling announcing Coutinho about an hour later on their big day. Let's get Botman in now, no idea who he is but that's irrelevant. They can have Cantwell and the worse Aaron Ramsey though.

he was a hot property a few years back, linked with the likes of spurs and utd in a big move, didnt happen, won the league with lille, still didnt get his big move, not sure why but he cant get in the national team, never played a game for them, missed the euros

There have also been reports that they're in talks for Issa Diop and Diego Carlos, so seems like they want more than one central defender. Forty-two goals conceded so can understand it, but not sure how wise it will be to change the whole defence mid season.

Van Dijk, De Ligt, De Vrij, Blind and Ake all ahead of him

It's a little sad to say it but as Man City are starting to get way too dominant, Newcastle may be our only hope in stopping that.

If they stay up and becomes a power house, breaking apart the traditional top 4, watching the top 4 having a meltdown over it, I'd find that funny.

Even if everything goes well for them, they’re years away from challenging Man City

Bit defeatest, shouldn't we want us to be a hope of stopping that too?

I know it's hard to imagine at the moment, but Man City won't always be as dominant as they currently are, they'll likely always be there or thereabouts as one of the teams in with a chance of challenging for honours, but they will have spells where they're a similar type of team to what Chelsea are at the moment, bascially what they were before Guardiola, and they're only the wrong managerial appointment, or bad transfer window away to going back to that.

They're as good as they at the moment, not just because of their money but also because of their manager, there have been times when people have thought that Chelsea or Man United would be forever dominant but doesn't work like that.

As for Newcastle they've got a long way to go.
