Isa
@DanishFooty: Danish website Onside.dk reports Aston Villa ace Jores Okore could be out for six months with a knee-injury if he's to be operated on #avfc Awful news if true.

AVFCforever1991
Okore-shock: Six-month injury break threatens Jores Okore has sustained a knee injury and risk a break of up to six months learns Onside.dk. It did not look good when Jores Okore had to leave the pitch after 26 minutes of Saturday's home match against Newcastle. After a melee with Newcastle's Loic Remy was Okore lying in the grass writhing in pain (watch the episode HERE ), and now it turns out, apparently, that the injury is worse than first thought. According Onside.dks information has Jores Okore sustained a knee injury, which can be a cruciate ligament injury, and according to recent reports threatening that the former FCN defender a break of six months. It should be emphasized that the information about the injury serious extent has not yet been confirmed by either Aston Villa or Jores Okore, but the long break would then be a sharp line in the bill for the Danish national team defender who else has conquered space next to Ron Vlaar in the Birmingham club's central defense. Jores Okore switched FC Nordsjælland out with Aston Villa this summer, and the 21-year-old defender has so far been noted for two matches in the Premier League. http://onside.dk/okore-chok-seks-maaneders-skadespause-truer Translated. Risso
If that is true, we are absolutely buggered. He's the one defender who actually looked like he knew what he was doing, and without him we're stuck with mostly the same shite that lets us down time and time again. Nabby
Have to agree with Risso that is us truly **** that defence is no where good enough and both Vlaar and Baker are prone to injuries as well.

Risso
Getting on a bit, but William Gallas is still a free agent I believe.
Isa
Our one signing who was clearly an improvement on what we had. So basically our team, on paper, is no better then last season.
Shillzz
Thankfully, Clark seems to have upped his game a fair bit this season, he was once again pretty good on Saturday. Big loss though.
momo
Bad news. Clark is good enough.
TrentVilla Posted September 16, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 16, 2013 Lets wait and see if it is actually confirmed first folks. Remember the Benteke has broke his leg stuff in the summer and wasn't there some BS going around last season that Lowton or Westwood or someone had a broken something only they had walked off. Okora might have a bad injury, he might not. The reality is that the club themselves probably don't know yet as they will have been waiting for any swelling to go down in order to do a scan which if needed would likely happen this morning. Risso
True Trent, but it looked a bad one, and I'd have thought a spell out will be the outcome, even if it's not as bad as that.

Dr_Pangloss
**** without him to be honest, it leaves us with centre halves with no pace and easy to run directly at.
