Would have taken a point but feel gutted, how many points have we thrown away this season after leading?

Posted

As always, a tale of two halfs.

Nzog MOTM. Wish he could play a full 90, but do not think he is that player.

Think we would have fared better without the two injuries, but apparently we will not play a match this season in which we do not lose a player to an injury.

Is 1:30 PM too early to start drinking?

Good performance, good point.

We dominated the first half and created chances in the second half - N'Zogbia coming off hurt us and Delph's injury robbed us of some of our energy, but the front three all looked dangerous and we looked a little more solid with Vlaar back.

Okay, we've given up a two goal lead, but this was a good performance overall and one that I think we can take two things from - some encouragement and a very welcome point.

4 wins in 23 games

Fantastic first half. Then as soon as they score we stop doing what we do well and hide in the corner hoping everything will be ok...

Would have taken a draw, at least we are out of the relegation zone. But still, more points thrown away from winning positions.

Can't count the amount of times I've said it this season but:

I would have taken the point before the game, but we really should have held on to our lead.

Still, out of the drop zone, which is always a good thing.

N'Zogbia MOTM for me.

Good game, **** it. There is quality in the side but not in the squad. Benteke's passing/general play was impressive. Good games by Westwood and Vlaar.

Shame about not having any decent subs to put on. Holman looked like he was jogging everywhere?
