I am sure he will give a gracious resignation speech as his position is obviously untenable now after such a loss. Over to Schumer... oh, right! It will be really interesting to see the republican statements this afternoon, with 2024 now in play. There are the obvious favorites like Cruz and Rubio, but I'm sure there'll be a swing from an underdog or two. I guess it’s difficult for us to understand if we’ve not experienced what they have. I have a friend who’s family fled to Sweden from Poland, carrying just their suitcases, when the communists came to power and forcibly removed everything they owned. She was born in Sweden since but still bares a grudge towards the USSR for what happened to her family and is fiercely economically conservative. Bunch of Trump supporters on the same flight shouted "traitor" at him for 4 hours. Edit: Trump bringing it up in his speech wondering if he enjoyed his flight and then mocked him a bit about the 2012 election.
