I very much doubt it but I think the pressure will start to build now. There needs to be some sign of improvement or some indication that he can sort it out otherwise he will end up going. VillaChris
Don't see how he would survive Liverpool finishing 7th or 8th. From what I've seen they look no better than that standard so far.
PaulC
They will finish at least 6th Chris. That isn't good enough!
TrentVilla Posted October 22, 2017 Moderator Share Posted October 22, 2017 One point in defence of Klopp I think worthy of mention. At a times when their *cough* rival top clubs spent a fortune this summer they actually made a £500k profit this summer in the transfer market. Its perhaps unfair to expect much improvement from them.

rodders0223
IIRC correctly Andy Carroll wasn't a £35m flop because they got Suarez for £22m, sold Torres for £50m. Then sold Suarez for £80m. So the £35m pissed up the wall on Carroll is null and void. Strange folk.

Popular Post NurembergVillan Posted October 22, 2017 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted October 22, 2017 Do it the right way don't they? Do everything the right way, Liverpool. Proper fans, proper songs, proper transfer policy (half the first team came through the ranks). Proper club. Never bought their way to success, either. ALWAYS the ones that get punished, because they do things the right way. The FA are up Man Utd's collective arse because everyone is jealous that Liverpool do everything the right way. And that's why Utd pay the FA, and referees, and Sky, and is an example of other teams doing things the wrong way. YNWA 8
Genie
Didn’t they sack Rafa last time round? He should tease them almost into bed and then say “no thanks, I’ll never go back to a club that sacked me”

Stevo985 Posted October 23, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted October 23, 2017 I've been saying it for years, literally years, but Mignolet is never a top keeper. How a team like Liverpool, who supposedly want to get back to the very top, still have him as their number 1 is beyond me.
a m ole
should they have sold Coutinho for 130m and bought an entire back 5?

Or not spent £35m on Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is crap, or the thick end of £60m on Naby Keita, who looks to be exactly what they need but they can't have him until next season. 2
