villadude
I see Houllier had been smoking crack again, he reckons Dalglish is doing an excellent job and Plop will win the league and be back in the champions league by 2013. Deluded ****!
coda
Suarez banned for 8 matches.
theboyangel
Suarez found guilty of racism, fined £40,000 and given an 8 match ban.... typically this is straight after we've played them  I'm sure Plop'll try and appeal against the amount of banned games. The_Rev
They absolutely will appeal. Part of me thinks the number is so astonishingly high so it can be reduced on appeal and still be a proper punishment.
Zatman
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is going to piss off Queen Kenny even more. maybe the finger incident is guilty he should be given a double ban
VillaAlex
Very disappointing, defended him in past but it's unacceptable. Had a look on RAWK for the lols and I'm astonished at how it's full of **** the corrupt FA rather than the disgust that their player made a racist comment... :s
OutByEaster? Posted December 20, 2011 Moderator Share Posted December 20, 2011 It's the kind of thing they can't do anything about unless they're absolutely sure - it looks like they're absolutely sure. That begs the question, what club dares to defend a proven racist?
OutByEaster? Posted December 20, 2011 Moderator Share Posted December 20, 2011 I wonder whether they'll come under pressure to sell him. He'll struggle to shrug this off.
The_Rev
They just refuse to accept the verdict and stick to Suarez's story that the word isnt offensive in Uruguay.
Chindie Posted December 20, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted December 20, 2011 They absolutely will appeal. Part of me thinks the number is so astonishingly high so it can be reduced on appeal and still be a proper punishment. Exactly the thoughts that crossed my mind when I heard the news just. Hopefully any appeal doesn't reduce the punishment too far. Liverpool will relish the opportunity to play the victim once more no doubt.
The_Rev
The thing is Suarez keeps getting himself into these situations. He has really only been on the radar of British fans since the 2010 World Cup and how many incidents has he been involved in since the handball on the line vs Ghana? He still has a seven game ban to serve in the Eredivisie for biting a PSV player when he was at Ajax.
Chindie Posted December 20, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted December 20, 2011 He's a word removed. Plain and simple. It's part of the reason soon enough everyone will despise him.
Rodders
Hopefully liverpool will do the only decent thing and fold out of shame. Please!
andym
hes always been a cheating, diving, whining little shit. and now everyone knows he is a vile racist as well. i wonder how other players will be when they play against him? a lot of crunching tackles no doubt. OutByEaster? Posted December 20, 2011 Moderator Share Posted December 20, 2011 The thing with Suarez is that this is an opportunity for Liverpool to take a sublimely talented player and start the process of ironing out the flaws in his character that make him a potential liability - they're going to miss that opportunity by appealing this decision and blaming the FA for everything. They'd be best served by just saying fair enough, we'll put Luis through an educational process in an effort to help him stop being footballs largest arsehole and bring him back a better man - as it is, they're just going to drag their clubs name through the mud. Suarez has already made Kenny Dalglish (a very decent man) look a complete fool this season, if they let him do the same to the whole club they'll deserve it. Swerbs
The word he allegedly said was 'negrito' which means 'little black man', I don't see how that isn't offensive anyway :S
NurembergVillan Posted December 20, 2011 Moderator Share Posted December 20, 2011 Wearing a black armband for 90 mins once a week doesn't make you not racist.
Brumstopdogs
Just voted for not making the top 4! Suarez is a great player but a cheat - glad he has been banned.
TheDrums
The word he allegedly said was 'negrito' which means 'little black man', I don't see how that isn't offensive anyway :S He called him a negro, which he admitted to, and his defence was it is not offensive in Uruguay. Yet he's been living in Europe for 6 years and did not know this? Absolute tosh.
