Reveal hidden contents It's been coming for a while, but Ragnar's death still got me right in the feels. Terrific show. S4 was the high point, imo. Loses its way a little after that, but worth sticking with to the end. Quote On January 4, 2019, alongside the announcement that the series would end after its sixth season, it was announced that Hirst and MGM Television were developing a spin-off series with writer Jeb Stuart. On November 19, 2019, it was announced that this, titled Vikings: Valhalla, would take place a century after the end of the original series and would be released on Netflix. The 24-episode series is set to be made by MGM Television, and filmed primarily in Ireland, working from the same Ashford Studios in County Wicklow. The series will focus "on the adventures of Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald Hardrada and the Norman king William the Conqueror". Xela
Onto season 5 of Bosch and still loving it, but something major in this season so far has annoyed me Spoiler Bosch going undercover in LA to infiltrate the opioid gangs. Really? Probably the most famous LA cop, whose face would have been plastered over the LA Times and news on all the high profile cases he's worked. Nah, he'd never be allowed.

Chindie Posted January 2, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted January 2, 2022 Inspired by the chat the other day I've gone back through a bunch of episodes of Faking It. What a great show. Sure there's some bits that are naff or cringe worthy in the extreme (the lawyer to garage MC one is excellent but also will make you squirm so much your arse will dig through your chair, for instance), but it's really interesting to see people in very specialised professions identify the things that define their profession and then try to teach the skills and attitude in a month to a complete noob. Particularly good episodes - burger van to chef, sheep shearer to hairdresser, insurance to stuntman, punk singer to conductor, ballet to wrestling, lawyer to UK garage MC.
