mjmooney Posted November 19, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 19, 2012 scratched my head a lot and gave up on that one , but just completed 230 , so now I've got the hang of it I'm going to go back and smash it then again , maybe not .... i got 2 rows quite easily but wouldn't have had a clue on the Poets & Radio 4 newsreaders !! I knew those straight away! I've now started at #1 and am up to #36. Success rate (for a "full house") is about one in four or five, but I'm not keeping score.
packoman
It's struggling after it's first seaosn, which a lot of us predicted. Another show that clearly had great ideas, but nothing planned beyond a first season. Hard to imagine what their going to do for the third season. Jon
So, Full English? Think it's been superb actually. Decent English Satire Cartoon for once (after Monkey Dust). I can't stand Victoria Cohen. Me neither. That Victoria Coren's a bit of alright though, hey?
PieFacE Posted November 20, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 20, 2012 Hard to imagine what their going to do for the third season. Yeah, completely milking it. Should have just finished after the 1st series.
mjmooney Posted November 20, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 20, 2012 Her books include Love 16 and Once More, with Feeling, about her attempt (with co-author Charlie Skelton) to make the best hardcore porn movie ever. This came off the back of their jobs reviewing porn films for the Erotic Review - a job which led them to believe that most of what they were watching was terrible and that they could make better films themselves. mykeyb
Could it just be the ex-prisoner who turned on the generators and opened the prison gates - the same one who cut through the padlock? The next episode will answer some of the questions and in turn pose a few more.

Brumerican
Just watched the pilot of "The League". Can tell I'm gonna love this. It gets so much better mate . PieFacE Posted November 21, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 21, 2012 Gosh, Dexter continues to excel. This season is ridiculous. Yeah, have to say i've really gone off Dexter. It's just getting stupid now. It needs to end.
Rodders
I disagree ive loved this season. Ray Stevenson is a great baddie. I think there has bern a notable stretching of credibility in the fallout to the end of season 6, but not at the expense of enjoyment.
briggaman
If any of you are 'Community' fans like myself then there's some bad news (depending on if you like the character), Chevy Chase (Pierce) has left the show....
Rodders
Yeah i figured. I think he's apparently been a dick on set. Also the 4th season was supposed to start last month but it got held back so I guess its toast. edited for appalling spelling.
Ponky
Maybe Pierce was attacked by the shark they all jumped over...
briggaman
Yeah i figured. I think hes apparenylu been a dick on set. Also the 4 th season was supposed to start last month but it got hekd vack so i guess its toast The fourth season is still going ahead. Chevy is already in 10-11 of the 13 episode run, yet I guess he'll just vanish from the show as they haven't filmed an exit episode as far as I know. The fourth season is airing early next year now in the States, although I'm starting to fear they may be the last one with all that's gone on. I bet NBC are kicking themselves for not standing next to Dan Harmon. Now they've lost them both...
GarethRDR
Putting aside some of the, ahem, 'acting' (which, in it's own way, adds a bit of comic charm/hilarity to proceedings) I am quite enjoying Arrow. I guess knowing sweet FA about the source material probably helps.
mjmooney Posted November 22, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 22, 2012 That BBC documentary on big cities last night was amazing. Covered much the same ground as the similar Andrew Marr programme from about a year ago, but did it better, IMO.
