Way more changes than expected but that is still a really strong side. Great chance for Tim and Rogers and Diaby will hopefully grab his chance of a start for some time. Good options on bench as well if needed.

Get a result with this line up and can freshen things up on Sunday.

I'm going for a Villa win by 2 goals.

Real opportunity for Diaby to start to rebuild his confidence…

Started last weekend with that pearler of a ball in for Digne's late goal.

Ok. So Diaby starts on the wing with Konsa behind him to ensure we arent too exposed..  good call

Rogers starts on the left which will give him some gametime and more experience of our set up . Then if JJ isnt fit he can play again v Spurs which is the most natural replacement....good call

Big Tim.. nice to see a first start for him. With no Kamara and McGinn he really is the only answer in the double pivot. Hope he settles quick as the talent is there. Just don't know if the tactical awareness is. He has had about 4 months first team training now.

Love Unai integrating Tim & Morgan into a big game like this. Great experience for them surrounded by a lot of quality.

Should have too much for Ajax UTV

Huge opportunity, must feel so good to have Unai showing such faith in them. Let’s see what they can do, both will be on a high at least.

Be good for Pau to get some minutes in his legs now, get him sharp for spurs. Hopefully Rogers will have got his off the ball duties drummed into him in training, on the ball he looked really good could be a wild card tonight and do something Ajax won't be expecting.
