Robbed by a shit Forest team who defended for the entire game. 

Luiz at fault for the first and Emi for the second. 

People will go on about how good Forest were. In reality we could have scored 4 in the second half alone and it would have been a fair representation of the game  

Any time we looked like trying to string a few passes together one of the Forest defenders would foul the Villa player and the ref didn’t give us anything! Summed up by Digne getting kicked in the chest and no one thinking it’s a foul.

Straight back down to Earth, always struggle when we are hyped up.

Oh well, we go again.

We are developing and improving as a team, never been such a possession based side and we will get there and get even better under Unai.

It’s a journey and process, won’t be a constantly smooth ride, but we will be all the better for it.

Off it today, but it won’t be the case all that often.

Brush this off, sharpen up and come back strong,

Hugely frustrating. 

Stupid goals to conceed. 

Worst game Dougie has had in a long, long time. He was awful today and a large part of the reason not much was clicking.

Diaby tried hard. Torres looked good. 

Very surprised some are voting Digne MOTM. Wasn't terrible by any means but had loads of the ball because Forest gave him the space and never really did anything of great quality with it - a few decent crosses but I feel we didn't make the most of all that space. I wish Ramsey were fit as I think he'd have destroyed them given all that room on the left.

Fair play to Forest. They defended really well today and hurt us when they got the chances. For us it looked like nothing really clicked today. We did have a lot of pressure and chances, but nothing really came of it. One of those bad days at the office where you could see our players being a bit frustrated with nothing clicking. Not too fussed, we can't win them all.

Just not quite on it today and Forest did a job on us. At the end of the day we dominated the game without creating too many clear cut chances and we lost to two 25 yard strikes, the second of which was a goalkeeping error.

Too much broke down with Digne today, he’s been largely excellent this season but with the amount of opportunities he had he should have contributed much better. We struggled to find space in the middle which was credit to their setup and discipline, when we did get in we were wasteful - had to happen at some point.

Fully deserved. Should have been more. We were a **** embarrassment across the board. It is unacceptable to be outfought like that. Just thought they could rock up and win. Believing their own hype before they've achieved **** all. You need to be on it every game all season or you are well beaten. Need a massive reaction in Europe now.
