The_Rev
The tarantula scene in Dr No is the only time James Bond is ever shown sleeping alone in the entire series of movies. He's slept with 46 women in 20 films so far.

chrisp65
One of my chums, Tim, is going to watch some footy in Kosovo this week. It will complete his collection of having watched a game in all 55 UEFA countries.
BOF Posted July 17, 2019 Moderator Share Posted July 17, 2019 3 hours ago, NurembergVillan said: Back in the early days of football, players would bring their own tops to wear and these would be jerseys or guernseys. A guernsey would be a fairly heavyweight jumper, traditionally worn by sailors, and so preferred by goalkeepers. A jersey is lighter weight but would still have typically been wool. That's interesting, because geansaí (pronounced ganzee) is the Irish word for a jumper.

Back when I lived in Nuremberg one of the Irish lads at the local bar was nicknamed "Ganzee" on account of him wearing a horrible jumper the first time he went in there.

KenjiOgiwara
The blue whale is still to this date the biggest animal ever to have lived, and it's still here. Apparantly there's been recorded blue whales of 32 meters and 210 tons, about double the weight of the biggest dinosaurs discovered. Since the 80's the population of blue whales have doubled in numbers, so the protection of the species in the 70's has clearly had an effect. I'd love to see a blue whale at some point.
