Tielemans doesn't play the same position as McGinn did last season. Is no comparison and Tielemans can't do that role

Tielemans is more than just a good passer.

He is more tenacious in his style than he is credited for.

How many times has he played right midfield?

How many times did Mcginn play right midfield pre Emery?

Also, Emery is known to tweak his system. We don't need a copy of McGinn.

I am not saying it won’t happen. Just that we are reacting to someone with zero credibility saying we might make a move happen.

Welcome to all of the Football Internet during the transfer window

He’s as good as McGinn, I’ve watched a lot of Leicester last few seasons as neighbour supports them (any excuse for a beer and football etc).

he’s tenacious, great passer not just good. Loves a tackle, but he definitely is the engine of Leicester, it isn’t Maddison.

if he’s free it’s an absolute no brainer, not even worth a discussion. Get him in.

he would definitely be good enough to be competing to be starting games and that’s what we need.

out of all the Leicester players, he is top of the list.

So were basically paying 120k upwards per week for a body then.

So much for improving or upgrading on our existing eleven.

Adding a 30-50 million quid midfielder on a free into our squad is a no brainer, if he signs I look forward to seeing what Emery can do with him. Similar to signing Torres, it gives us different options for different games and we’ll have a lot of games to play

Our second string against Stevenage, there’s plenty of room for tielemans and anyone else we want to sign.
