Though it would mean beating Man City by a number of goals in order to catch up on goal difference Realistically they'd then need to beat Sheffield United by 6 or 7 on the final day.

VillaChris
Nunez must be one of the thickest players to ever play at the top level. He simply can't do the basics at any speed.
theboyangel
Just need Man City to beat them and it’s done!
Aston_Villan4
Was hoping to have it wrapped up today but that was at least a solid consolation for the day.
jacketspuds
Thank **** that’s finally over. We’re 0 points worse off, with a +1 goal difference swing and now 1 less game for Spurs to catch us. We just need to match one of their results and it’s over.
Popular Post The_Steve
If Spurs win today we are done. Classic Villa this. Absolutely certain win for Spurs later now. Spurs will beat Pool today Fail to win here and Spurs won't need a teamtalk later. Some classic VT overreactions to simmer over. It's still in our hands! 2
wishywashy
And we're back. Opta puts it at a nice 95.8%. Edited May 5 by wishywashy
paul514
It’s done we are in the CL next year, not a chance do they win all three and make up the goal difference
thejoker
At least that last 20 minutes show that Liverpool can be got at.

You aren’t taking into account if we pick up no more points, this would effect our goal difference as well.
Lochheads twin
Well Liverpool did their job for us. Spurs probably still have to beat Citeh and we don’t win either game. ( 2draws would probably do it) we are running on empty. Need some fresh legs in midfield Edited May 5 by Lochheads twin
Popular Post one_ian_taylor Posted May 5 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted May 5 So on a day where we have played terribly, looked totally exhausted and are limping towards the end of the season with a crumbling squad, we have actually managed to increase the gap on goal difference. Thanks Tottenham 3

Stephen_Evans
1 minute ago, paul514 said: It’s done we are in the CL next year, not a chance do they win all three and make up the goal difference Well they would need to win 2 and draw 1 while making up the goal difference (assuming we do not collect another point). VillaChris
So basically the season rests on Man. City beating Spurs. That's really not a bad place to be in at all. Even if Spurs play out of their skins and get a draw (and pretty much hand Arsenal the title) we'd then just need a point on the final day.
