  1. I went to plenty of games through the 90s and 00s and clinical accuracy was exactly what fans wanted to counter the incompetence of the refs and linesmen up until they actually got VAR, and now they pretend they never ever wanted a system that could double-check and potentially overturn their decisions. "All we wanted was the spirit of the game to be maintained", my arse.
  2. Well, it's a bit of a moot point because he'd barely be playing if we hadn't have bought him.
  3. Never in doubt. The man has no problem getting a semi.
  4. I don't know why the Spurs game is a foregone conclusion. Going out on a limb here, but I think Forest may just be up for, you know, being as far away from the relegation zone as possible. And Spurs are just as capable of shooting themselves in the foot as we are.
  5. Not 'Direby' anymore, then? What a surprise. Almost as if he's not an awful player whom we supposedly overpaid for and just needed to regain his confidence.
  6. Robertson subbed off at 59 mins. I give up with this game lol.
  7. Ah, but, you see, you forgot to consider that we're not going to go on a winning run for the rest of the season. It's just a collapse from here on out (supposedly).
  8. Looks classic with a claret lion (the usual grumbles about the star, the 1874, and 'Aston Villa' being placed at the bottom aside). Love it when we introduce gold to our badges, but, in this case, I think it would only work best on the kit while the bottom row-left would work best for anything with a lighter background. (We already switch between white and claret borders for different contexts - the white was an awful choice, imo - so I don't see we couldn't switch between blue and gold.)
  9. Sure, but we'll still be stuck with the drop shadow version on the stadium, social media, and everywhere else.
  10. I started accepting the idea of a new design as soon as we got the round badge again. It isn't enough for something to be 'traditional' or 'pleasing to the eye' nowadays, so inevitably it was going to be buggered about with. What rankles me most is that Heck is more concerned with what Chelsea trolls think of our crest than with what our own fans might think of it.
