I’d rather sign Guendouzi for €20m euros less and put that money towards another attacker. He’s clearly a good young player but not fussed on this one.

I personally think this ones going to come back and bite as a what could have been

If he goes chelsea we definitely could have got him. If he goes CL club fair enough.

Looks like a absolute top player

Chelsea have a way higher profile than us and more recent success.

Yeah, sadly kidding ourselves if we think we're as attractive a proposition as Chelsea right now. Plus the ridiculous money they're willing to offer anyone.

Utter madness. Chelsea are pure scum.

Soon they would have enough players to start their own league.

They aren’r building a team, they are hoarding players, if they don’t get into CL again soon, they would break every FFP rule.

Could go massively tits up for them, looks a great prospect but he's not €60m worth yet. Lots of talent at Chelsea has failed to deliver on the promise. I'd imagine Pochetino would be a great appointment to try and sort it out but their owner is a **** right utensil.

have the brought in that rule yet where you can give a player any contract you want (ie: 6/7/8/9++ years), but it can only be factored over the maximum 5 years for FFP purposes?

Will never happen sadly but would be great if all other PL clubs would refuse to buy players from Chelsea this summer so they'd have to sit on their massive squad and not get any money in.

Obviously they could still loan out a bunch abroad but it would hurt them and cause tension in the squad.

They don't have a huge amount in CM in fairness.

Selling Kovacic, Gallagher, Mount dosen't want to stay as it stands and impasse on contract talks with Kante and he's had plenty of injuries in last two years. No way they're just randomly going to give Carney 40 starts next season either.

So from their point of view makes sense to get in an Ugarte type and have him and Enzo Fernandez as the pivot and then rebuild the forward line which will be more of a 12 month job.

Depending on cup runs they're largely going to be playing once a week next season so they can probably get by with 18-20 man senior squad so their sales will be in double figures over next three months.

Coincidentally that's also the length of his contract.
