Marka Ragnos Posted May 23, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted May 23, 2023 Pure fantasy here: What current Villa player do you think you'd enjoy meeting in person?* Maybe it's someone who you just like and you're not sure why, or don't want to say, or maybe there are specific questions or interests you have for that player. Perhaps there's someone you feel you'd get on with. Maybe you just want to express gratitude, or frustration, or ask for penalty lessons lol. Could be a "big" player or someone more tangential. Who? Why? * Let's assume language barriers can mostly be surmounted, through a translator, or your own skills, etc. Or don't assume that if you'd rather not. Marka Ragnos Posted May 23, 2023 Author VT Supporter Share Posted May 23, 2023 I should answer. For me, it would be Douglas Luiz. I admire his personal story and his playing. He also just seems pretty down to earth, an interesting player who is kind of in the middle of a lot of different intersections. Would love to hear his thoughts on Villa's future, on Birmingham, on Brazilian politics, on Jack Greaslish, and so much more ...
Mazrim
Emi Martinez. I think he'd be a hoot to go on a sesh with.

Popular Post Mark Albrighton Posted May 23, 2023 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted May 23, 2023 Alisha Lehmann Spoiler You see, I’m being a progressive kinda guy by not automatically choosing someone from the men’s team and acknowledging the women’s team. But I’m also deliberately undercutting that vaguely enlightened thought by choosing a player from the women’s team who is also very famous for being physically attractive. Was I successful in walking that progressive/knowingly sexist line? Time will tell. 3 1
It's Your Round
I’ll also opt for Douglas-Luiz, I think he’d be a laugh and he’s more likely to show me those photos on his phone that Alisha wouldn’t
Popular Post tomav84 Posted May 23, 2023 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted May 23, 2023 bertrand traore. i imagine a night out with him is much the way he plays, ticks along nicely but at some point something totally unexpected will happen whereby we'll either end up in a club surrounded by beautiful 20 somethings or face down in a farmer's field getting shat on by a sheep 1

StewieGriffin
McGinn, Emi or Mings I think - pretty much for all the reasons given already. Also a good place to mention that I met Olof once and genuinely couldn't talk - absolute specimen. I met Petrov too - unsurprisingly a lovely, lovely man
7392craig
Would absolutely love to meet Martinez, seems like a genuinely good guy and I love how he’s blossomed with us after being so under appreciated at Arsenal. I met Ashley Young years ago up town and he was a real gent. I met McGinn and Jack a few times in the pub, McGinn is everything you’d expect him to be, hilarious. I’ve met Tyrone twice and both times he’s been an absolute end. 1

one_ian_taylor Posted May 23, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted May 23, 2023 Tyrone Mings - excellent player, a man with principles. But I'd trade you meeting every single Villa player for a weekend in San Sebastien hanging out with Unai 3
