But the curse of Villa could strike if Zaha is back after a fair few games out and also Palace needing a win. We do seem to like to help teams out at Villa Park. Crystal Palace are third from bottom in 18th. Chelsea are 15th, playing Leeds in 19th. A win for Villa and a draw for Chelsea would take Villa into that land of promise and dreams, known as the top-half. Palace have had five draws and one loss, in their last six. Sadly, Villa rarely seem able to seize a good opportunity, or even recognize that one exists, even under Emery. Looking at the table I think Europe is out of reach at this point, but our business in summer will be an easier sell if we're a top half time pushing for Europe than if we're in that pack of "just clear of relation".
