But we need to see what we have in the larder, before we go shopping. Our boys secured 1.96 PPG last season in 24 games......its not easy getting Better players than that....we was beyond impressive at times. UE has already declared, he is only 10% in to the project....so we must be patient. My suspicion is, he will look prudently at the pre season games, particularly the ones in USA against Premier oppostion, and see how some of the young boys, fair. Its too,too easy to waste money...and we havn't got oil wells in Witton....we need to keep ticket pricing under control too, spending recklessly can threaten that. PS and please guys, don't be critical of Monchie for having a reputation for securing value for money signings.....its prudent business. People talking about right backs, support strikers, wingers etc. The most important signing for me is a competent back up keeper. We could go and spend £200m on attacking players but it will be a complete waste of time if Martinez is out for a large part of the season.
