Feel like ive seen nothing from villareport and villa faithful for years 😂 i think by the 5th July we will have signed a forward player and we probably break our transfer record by doing so.

Pretty sure he rejected the likes of United and Barca when he was at Brescia as he solely wanted to go to Milan. Would be odd if he left for Newcastle after not even 100 league games.

Odd

Can’t lie, a little envious of any club that manages to sign top Italian talent. Grew up in the age of 90s Serie A and Football Italia!

Is it a done deal though? Isn’t Tonali a big time Milan fan? Many Italian players tend to stay put and often get homesick after moving abroad or it doesn’t appeal to them…

Shows what kind of money you can spend and players you can attract if you’re in CL (and owned by a country 🙄 and rules don’t apply).

But…

I’m happy and confident in our midfield and don’t think it lacks much, maybe just a bit of physicality. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think we can finally mix it with most now and especially under Unai’s guidance.

Where do we think our midfield ranks in the PL compared to other sides? We really do have some top young talent that can further grow and develop with us.

It is so subjective .  Ours is good not great but with potential to be great with none of them past their best age wise.  Our 6 that can play central mid have an average age of 25.16.

We arent a midfield that can dominate against teams above us .but thats because we arent as strong in other areas and how we set up to be really strong on the counter.

Could our midfielders excel in top 4 teams ?  Absolutely. They are all good enough tactically and some are good enough tecnically.

Definately the strongest part of our squad in terms of talent. But defence is the strongest part of our squad tactically.

🚨☎️ Aston Villa has been interested in Largie Ramazani, a player from Almería, in recent hours.

Don’t think he’s reliable but at least we are getting some more links lol.

Named Largie but he's about 4ft 7. VT will love it.

In recent hours we’ve been interested in signing him? Sounds close 😁

Newcastle getting tonali 70 million

Not done according to stuff over here, they say Milan refused €55-60m, and have asked for €80m to talk terms with the player.

Looks very small but absolutely rapid. Seems to be a good dribbler but not sure about his end product. Didn't have a good season.

Nathan Collins off to Brentford for £25m. Would’ve quite liked us to sign him.

I actually wanted us to sign him before he went to Burnley.

Apparently, we were in deep talks, but he eventually chose to go where he would be guaranteed more first team football
