How will you celebrate when Gerrard is sacked?

Save your prayers, I’m good with it. Will be the right decision.

I won’t be needing counselling in 12 months time like some still do.

Will you if we hire Smith back?

That would be great wouldn't it! The best manager in 25 years back to finish the job properly.

Sorry, off-topic, but I used to live between Kings Heath and Maypole and once witnessed an old bloke knocking one out on the number 50 bus. Your post mentioning the #50 and fiddling with your todger has brought those disturbing memories back.

Sorry about that, I was going through a difficult time.

Not really. By the time it gets to this point its different.

I was over the moon when Lambert and Bruce eventually got sacked.

don't get me wrong, he needs to go.

His time is up, but i just don't think its something to celebrate

There are times I'd agree. But I think by this point we just need him gone and then there's hope it improves.

Don't forget @briny_ear they all deserve our best wishes.

You haven’t been paying attention. I’ve been calling for him to go for a while now.

My only reservation is I don’t think the manager is the only problem. There isn’t a magic wand here.

But clearly Gerrard going is a start.

This but mines 52 years of it

I’ve got 61 years incredibly. But it means I witnessed the European cup win and the good times of the early 90s, as you must have done. The OP with only 31 years hasn’t been quite so lucky.

Very much doubt that you could successfully make a case for Smith being better than Brian Little and John Gregory who managed us at the start of your 25 year timescale.

But, those two aside the rest of  those 25 years have been almost unremittingly shit so it’s not too much of a recommendation, is it?
