This is where VTs right wingers all hang out.  Why don’t you venture over to the Tory thread in off topic and defend your heroes?

They are captured leftist for me.

but seriously wtf has signing or not signing Sarr got to do with politics? I don’t get it.

I suspect, Sarr made demands, he knew Villa would not agree to......He engineered his way out of the deal.

I also suspect SG twigged this and pulled the plug.

Thats my take on it.

Im sorry I appear to have logged into a teenage twitter feud 🤣🤣🤣

On topic, if the manager feels he is not the right fit after talking to him, best we didnt sign him.

More concerning is why we bid for a player manager didnt want

maybe, only when he spoke directly to him.......He knows, what he knows now.

perhaps he liked him for his football......but not his character.

Why would he do that?  He could just have said he's not interested.

As I said just a suspicion, maybe that's his way, maybe he didn't want to prejudice his next negotiations and build a reputaion for unrealistic demands.....If we had of said ok, maybe he would have just put up with it and chanced it, I think he wants to go somewhere else, maybe he thougth Aston was in London?😋.....and we would have an half interested player.....maybe SG et al picked up on that.

e.g.some builders over price a job, because they don't want to do it....its a tactic.

Oh, well, if we're going to turn this into a bolitics argument, I'll play the grammar nazi card.

I'm glad someone did. NGL, was considering it but I just put him on ignore instead. I'm clearly going soft.

Wtf is going on here?

It's why we should try and leave the politics out of the football threads.

I don't like seeing people having whatever their political affiliations or beliefs are, used to discredit their football views ffs

It's cheap and petty IMO.

One of the purported benefits of Gerrard was his ability to sign players. Perhaps word is getting out that he's not pleasant or beneficial to work with.

Apparently Watford fans don’t rate him 🤷🏽‍♂️

That's what I've been getting from reading their opinions too.

I feel like he's another player whose reputation hasn't really caught up to how good he currently is. 2 years ago it probably would've been a good signing. Now though, I seriously doubt he'd be much better than the wingers we already have at the club.
