Sulberto21
Under Gerrard it’s “he’s really struggling, he’ll be back in a few weeks” and they’re in the next squad . Under smith it was “he’ll be out for a week “ but we don’t see them again for 6 months. Noice!
NoelVilla
and as others have said. I don't get why Ings don't get the chance to start.
Follyfoot Posted February 13, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted February 13, 2022 Pretty much what I would’ve done apart from Chambers and Watkins. Hause and Ings for me but what do I know

Pretty easy for Mings. I agree Mings makes mistakes, but he’s not usually weak in the air or easily bullied. When it's played down his throat with a big No 9 on his shoulder, he makes mistakes. rodders0223
Same 11 same subs suspensions withstanding. O'Neill is back.
WakefieldVillan
As I said previously, I'd give Watkins 45 mins tops if he's not at it, we have good options on the bench not to.
Demitri_C
Yesssssssd Emi and bailey. Get in!!
AVTuco Posted February 13, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted February 13, 2022 Good to see Emi is able to start. Otherwise, not the choices I would've made. They'll score from a corner and, well, we won't. Hause and Ings were my choices today.
Demitri_C
Trippier starts but i dont think he is fully fit we need to make it tough for him
CVByrne
Pity Trippier is fit. Big for them not to lose both full backs
Rodders
there's nothing to fear in that newcastle side, aside from ASM No excuses to not win this match.
BleedClaretAndBlue
Their side is still largely crap. Just have lots of height that we definitely have the potential to struggle with. As dangerous as ASM can be, he’s never really hurt us whenever we play them. Here’s hoping that continues. They havent beat us since the championship either. 1-2 Villa. Comeback win.

Watkins aside, not really sure what other changes you'd make? With the current state of the squad all the current starting 11 bar probably Luiz, Chambers and Watkins are instant starters. 1 minute ago, Sulberto21 said: Under Gerrard it’s “he’s really struggling, he’ll be back in a few weeks” and they’re in the next squad . I really don't know why Smith used to do that because all it did was get people disappointed.
El Zen
I’d perhaps have considered Ings over Ollie, otherwise that’s that’s the best XI we have avaible.
Sulberto21
Jo Willock is a little bit dangerous in that he makes late runs into the box so we’ll have to be switched on for that.
