MaVilla
I thought as he is 19, might deserve his own thread (courtesy of BOF who posted the signing in the youth thread originally). Seems he can play striker or LW. Is he highly rated? Imagine, we could feasibly have 4 players in the team who are brothers lol, Caleb Chuka, Carney Chuka, J.,Ramsey, A.Ramsey. ------- CALEB CHUKWUEMEKA MAKES PREMIER LEAGUE MOVE Academy product joins Aston Villa https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2021/august/caleb_chukwuemeka/ Northampton Town striker Caleb Chukwuemeka has signed for Premier League side Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee. and a vid for you.... 1

Herman22
Come on get both brothers in the first team and watch the commentators struggle. Matt Maher has said this is done.

Popular Post skarroki
Don't know about this signing, he's clearly not going to sign to be on the bench but if we're going to play him through the middle, where are we playing Ings and Watkins? 1 4

May-Z
His youtube vid looks pretty good. If we had a 19 year old out on loan who had these highlights we'd be saying he's doing pretty well. Welcome aboard.

KAZZAM
Gonna be a big step up for him in the premier league. I assume he wont be going on loan and will become defacto 3rd striker? (Keinan and Wesley out on loan?).
Villaphan04
I feel like I mention this every time we sign a young prospect but we must be super professional and not stingy with money in dealing with ‘lower level’ clubs. Each has had a statement along the lines of thanking us for being professional and building a good relationship with us. To me that’s always going to help the club in the long run Quote We also thank Aston Villa for their professional dealings throughout the transaction and we look forward to continuing our good relationship.” https://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/2021/august/caleb_chukwuemeka/
Czarnikjak
Just now, KAZZAM said: Gonna be a big step up for him in the premier league. He wasn't even a starter for Northampton in Ligue 2 last season, made 20 appearneaced off the bench and only 4 starts. For 19 year old it's not that impressive...I wonder if we bought him to keep Carney happy?
MaVilla
so, Caleb is 19, 20 in Jan so he isnt part of the very young player development like Kessler, Carney etc. As he isnt quite as young as some of the others, do we think he will go out on loan?, stay around the first team?, i cant see the u23 being any benefit to him? Also, how highly rated is he?, i see he is a big unit and looks reasonably skilful, is he highly regarded?
