Then more obviously. Then the U23s. Then just the team name with a “B” after it... Unless the Premier League realise this and kick them out first. Awol
After watching back the statement and questions in the HoC it’s clear the English teams won’t be participating. If UEFA and FIFA don’t sort it the government will legislate with cross-party support. The only questions now are about levels of punishment and ultimately, ownership of the offending clubs. Suspect Woodward, Levy et al are finished. Edited April 19, 2021 by Awol

I'm a little surprised there have been no leaks from the football supporting staff at JPM in New York. There must be all sorts of emergency meetings going on and I'd love to see the legalese in the binding agreement they've all signed.
Popular Post ejs1111
I posted this on Twitter... what I'd like to see if this SuperLeague actually happens: The Premier League says: Ok Big6... you can stay in the Premier League, however each club is fined for this breach every year for participating in the SuperLeague. The sum of the fine is EQUAL to the payout ($350mil). That is the price you pay to remain in the Premier League and continue moving forward with status quo. All fines collected from the 'SuperLeague Tax' every year are distributed equally between all 20 teams. So the Big6 will get some of that money back, but they will get the same amount as everyone else. Problem solved... enjoy your little closed shop ya pricks- and thanks for the extra $2.1bil for the Premier League teams. If they don't agree to these terms- they are expelled from English football.

As there have been no leaks, it makes me think that this was a testing the waters exercise to gauge the reaction? Set up a nice website and make some announcements and see what happens? And whatever you think of him he will always and have always set the fans of Man Utd before the Glaziers. I can see him walking and getting a compo (as this surely wasn't in his contract). OutByEaster? Posted April 19, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 19, 2021 I suspect that JP Morgan's involvement isn't too much more than a loan - if the clubs don't end up starting the Super league they borrowed the money for then it'll be Bamboo Lounge rules. Popular Post Chindie Posted April 19, 2021 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted April 19, 2021 There has to be consequences for this, severe consequences. Expulsion from the league - they've thrown away any interest in the continued existence of the league and openly, flagrantly, threatened it. That must be punished. Truly punished. No fines, no slaps on the wrist, meaningful punishment. They have threatened the existence of every club in Europe, every league. Destroy them. 8
