Hit the post/bar 3 times in quick succession too - sounds like 2 points dropped

In terms of chances maybe but Wigan had over 70% possession. That's insane for a team that was dead last in the championship at start of the game.

Awful for blues to be dominated like that by a poor team

And the run he made running up to strike the penalty was very intelligent.

There's not many things that have wound me up more on here over the years, than the Hogan's movement is world class crowd.

But it was though.  If ONLY we'd got players good enough to spot it.

Regarding the farcical bridge-naming, lots of comments on WankBook from 'Noses trying to point out it was not their club who want to name the bridge.

I'm not sure who are the stupidest, HS2 or Birmingham council, the idea obviously came from one of them.

Name a bridge after a player who only played 40 odd games for a local club, scored four times, and wasn't even born in Birmingham.

You really can't make up comedy like this.

I mean, Tommy Elphick played 46 games for us, why doesn' he get a mural and a bridge named after him?

Probably because we ain't small time rocket polishers like this lot.

I'd love to know what this post is about but I haven't got a clue.

Bridge?

Bridge?

A bridge being erected by HS2 is being named The Bellingham Bridge.

Yes, really.

Hey, wait a minute.

Maybe it's being named after a more famous Bellingham?

Its embarrassing to name the bridge after him

It should be Matthew Boulton. Birmingham born industrialist, with strong links to rail. Perfect.

It’s embarrassing for sure, you’d think he’d captained England to the World Cup the way some people go on.
