Dallas should have been off for that. Surely, the principle of VAR is to overturn obvious errors?! He went in from behind and got studs on ankle. Reckless and dangerous. But they probably cannot because it’s a booking which again is a structural flaw.

Banterford almost with an own goal at the end

Calculated pass.

He was absolutely shite today though. Rodrigo changed it for us when he came on

Kudos on the result. Played without fear and the flow of passing is always enjoyable. Might have been different but Man City are a difficult side to predict who will turn up and perform.

In contrast we will probably have about 20 % possession tomorrow.

Yeah we played alright v them at VP but only had 26% of the ball which surprised me as Liverpool aren't as possesion orientated as Man. City are. Guess it was just a consequence of taking the lead early and mass defending afterwards.

Mind you with Grealish at Anfield it was only 28%.

I do think part of the problem is we don't really believe we can press the top teams well enough without leaving space behind so we get nervous and just sit back which leads to all the possesion of opposition. However likes of Palace and Newcastle show you can still get results if you counter attack well or take your chances.

However the Arsenal result has knocked some sense into them that if you're positive and concentrate well you can get wins off the top 7. Liverpool will also be missing Mane, Thiago and Henderson so will be far from their strongest 11 which will also help.

It's only 3 games, of course, but I'd be seriously worried if I were a Citeh fan. They stuttered against Spurs and Norwich last year and never recovered the ground they lost. Can't see Liverpool dropping many points this year (including tomorrow sadly).

Thought that was going to be a hiding after the first 20 mins City looked class. But like last week they retreated and relinquished control of the game after scoring. Leeds grew into the game and made a real game of it. City with no Aguero or Jesus are very beatable. Worst ive ever seen KDB aswell. As for Mendy he looks and plays just like Aly Cissokho. Uncanny

Leeds though, 7 points from 4 having already played City and Liverpool is good going

Think if City have Aguero they'd have put a few past us. All their chances were sitting on the edge of the box and rolling it onto their strong foot to sky it.

They lack that focal point up front.
