Does this seriously mean I get to watch Villa on TV from the USA, but some of you can’t watch it down the street from VP? That’s f***ed up if true.

It’s live on Sky on Sunday evening

How do Chelsea manage to look so average after spending THAT much money on an already highly accomplished squad?

Lampard won't last long unless they start to play a lot lot better.

Chelsea really should be performing better. Takes time to gel and all that but Lampard is not getting the max out of his squad. They look no where near more than the sum of their parts. Far worse actually.

This is the problem with big names walking straight into top management jobs.  They should be working for years proving themselves at various levels of the game, learning how to be a manager.

Had, what, 1 season at Derby then straight in at Chelsea.  He's a complete novice.

I think Terry is being more sensible. In his third year as assistant now.  He should do a couple of years with a League 1 or 2 club and if he does well, try get a gig at a Championship club.  Do that for 4 or 5 years and if he does that well then try get a PL job.

There seems to be an assumption that great players will automatically be good managers, but actually most of the time they fail at it.

Yup!

I get why they went for him last season considering the circumstances but this season I'm certain someone like Allegri or Rangnick (and obviously loads of others) would get more out of this squad

The amount of penalties given this season, it's ludicrous. Tammy throwing a mini tantrum as he wasn't allowed to take it.

4-0 now.

Both penalties today examples where the attacker has won it, the contact didn’t really bring the player down but they now manage to accurately collapse as the contact comes in.

Majority of premier league penalties are like that, attacker hits the deck but no way was brought down.

And with slow motion VAR everything comes across as a penalty

Crystal Palace are a team with talented players, but when the chips are down I don't see them coming together as a side and pulling their socks up.  Their fans better hope they are firmly mid-table before the last few weeks of the season.

The second was terrible, faintest of touches and he’s hit the deck. Rio saying “it’s a definite penalty” shows just how much of a problem it is. The players are one step ahead of the rules at this stage.
