At Villa Park Man City had 12 shots on goal and 71% of the ball so shows how well they've done. Even the Norwich 3-2 win over Man. City they had just 3 shots on target. Which is part of the problem - the application of the horribly vague and terrible rule. Had the referee followed it to the latter it would be a pen today.
