One thing I've learned... Watkins could pass to pass to Luiz, who then passes to McGinn, who passes to Konsa, who then scoops a ball up to Pau Torres who scores a rocket Bicycle kick own goal... And people would say it's because Olsen made them nervous and probably should have saved it anyway 😂

I do feel sorry for the poor bastard..... He has no chance.

Strange post. He's nowhere near good enough, proven time and again. Exempt from any sort of criticism though.

Why do people always go overboard with their responses? No one’s saying he’s exempt from criticism but for the Olympiakos match he was clearly not the problem with the team. Obviously we need to find a better backup for Emi but Olsen really isn’t as bad as he’s been portrayed to be.

What about some realism of how good a number 2 can be? What top keeper can we get in who will be happy to sit on the bench?

What nonsense.

ALL he ever gets IS criticism, even for those which isn't his fault 😂... Which board have you been on?

Emi is so good he has papered over the cracks of repeated unforced errors time and time again. Olsen exposes that by default of not being as good

Being a number 2, especially to Emi Martinez, and with our fanbase, has got to be the most high pressure place to be in.

I'm just generally defensive of our players when I feel they are being picked on, whilst others are totally absolved of any blame as it's convenient.

One who can actually save a shot would be a nice start.

He saved 2 - 3 shots to stop us from losing to Chelsea literally game before last.

He also saved shots last match

Get your " Effect " posting in though 🤦🏾‍♂️

Anyway don't even know why I engage.

A good comment.  I totally agree, Emi papers over the cracks of our current weak defence. Any other goalkeeper is going to be exposed to and highlights  all that weakness.

Its the defence/midfield etc that is the problem due to injuries, confidence or whatever...

I sometimes don't get this... And genuinely feel they ( All of them ) will use any excuse to pop off for a mini holiday 😂.

Are you tellinge there are no specialists in the UK which could do similar " specialist " treatment?

Unless you are out for quite a while, I don't see the reasoning for taking a 10 - 12 hour flight to see a " specialist " for a few days.

Don't the journeys in themselves take a toll? 🤦🏾‍♂️

"At home" would suggest to me that the specialist flew here rather than the other way around.

Yes. That pic is Emi's garden here.  Seen it many times in his and his wife's instagram pics

I think we'll see him in Greece. Thursday night is exactly the type of occasion made for him and he won't want to miss out unless he can't actually walk.

I guess we might need someone to take the goal kicks but that can be managed.
