We've given it a good go. But we're a goal down against a team that have won every single home game this season, and people are acting like we're getting dicked. What did you expect?

I haven’t seen anyone saying we’re getting dicked.

Most don't realise this is the biggest gripe most of us have.

Fine margins, and those are the ones which win/draw Managers games and points.

How people can't see this is beyond me.

The system and game plan effort today have been on point today I can't giver him stick for that.

Fine margins yet the ones that moan seem to assume just making subs makes everything OK.

But why not make any changes. His tactics (and Liverpool being off the boil) got us into the position, but it was clear we had nothing in us. Liverpool bring on 3 pairs of fresh offensive legs. Smith does nothing.  We concede

Exactly. Always waits then we get punished

Not our luck is it,as much as some say we shouldn't be surprised by a defeat it's still annoying as hell with how good we've played against them.

Truth is the scoreline isnt deserved for them.

Liverpool haven't dropped a point at Anfield all season but its all on Smith.

Brilliant.

Not lost at home in something like 56 games, won every home game this season, salah scored at every home game this year, had a shot on goal in the first 30 mins in every game this season (apart from today) absolutely pissed the league and current CL champions

Smith out

Another goal conceded because of laziness and lack of desire. Back off the player in the middle of the parks a few yards outside our penalty area and let him pick a pass. We've conceded SO many goals because of that, just failure to close down and press.

It's not about skill it's just hard work and desire.  Every underdog whose ever beaten a better team does that.

We just sit back static and let them pick us apart.

Seriously on today’s effort ?

If only he'd subbed on nakamba and jota 5 minutes earlier. We'd be dominating.

Have you seen the players we can bring on? I'd be against bringing players on myself

To an extent yes, if Smith would rather stick with extremely mediocre tired players than bring on some fresh legs then he’s failed as a manager to prepare us for the season.

With the subs we have, it will do more harm than good bringing them on imo. They don't suit the gameplan at all.

Well in the last 4 games we've seen that not making them definitely doesn't

Thats not it at all.  Whats frustrating is that even the blind man with no tv could tell our midfield was tiring.

Yet somehow DS still thinks its ok to leave the tired players on.

Might not have stopped them scoring but doing nothing was not the right answer, hes made changes on the wrong positions and left the most tired players on the pitch.  Pathetically poor game management as usual.

We're playing argiably the best team in world football and apparently only losing because we didn't make subs at the right time
