What would people prefer?

Sign Rashica and play Watkins as the striker

Sign Eduoard and play Watkins wide

What's this Sophie choice?

I want Eduoard so bad but I have to stick to what is most needed now Watkins is in the squad and that is a wide forward in the mould of a playmaker so it has to be Rashica

Baggies going for Karlan Grant.

I really would like him.

I know it's another championship player. But quite simply, it's another one good enough comfortably for the PL.

Huddersfield are a mess at the moment.

Wasn't a fan when in PL but was young and has good record in EFL

French goalkeeping is absolute laughable isn’t it... Nyland should head for Ligue 1, he’d be a star :)

I was like ooo I saw a link to this guy I'll watch that..... **** me those keepers are awful

Can’t help feel that Buendia in CM with McGinn and Luiz would work well.

He can tackle, break up play, turn dribble and break through opposition midfield lines turning defence into attack quickly and could feed Jack/Ollie/RW. For me he’s a CM not a winger/inside forward (but could prob fill in there ok if injuries to first choices).

I just wonder why nobody’s gone in for him yet? perhaps he’s not as good as I think 😀

Only 11 minutes but maybe others agree with potential? maybe not?

Listening to Gregg Evans (everybody's favourite) on the 1874 podcast:

"Villa's transfer business is not done there (after Watkins), there's plenty more they want to get done, whether they get everything that they want over the line is another matter and I think there will be a player who will surprise quite a few fans when he comes in. Villa are very ambitious, they are looking at number 8s across the continent and are very selective of who they want to get so maybe that might be the position who surprises a few supporters"

After questioned by Bardell in regards to the player and breaking the transfer record again:

"Not necessarily breaking the record transfer fee again, you know because there are players out there who are much cheaper....I am expecting them to go get a player who will provide the wow factor really, and just take on that midfield to the next level".

Interesting...

I think it will be Fabian Delph.

I don't quite get why we would look at a new number 8. It means one of two things. Either McGinn isn't favoured which seems unlikely. Or Grealish won't be moving in centrally, which is very likely.

So considering what that podcast said and a new number 8, Grealish will stick to the left, which means the Rashica rumours just are rubbish. No way we're signing Rashica and playing him right side, nor will he ever be signed as a sub.
