Hope he can get a goal, he needs a confidence boost. I think he's done alright, the key thing is we got runners beyond him.
sne
Wonder if they dare go 4-4-2 with Carroll on and hoof it to high heaven? Might honestly not be a terrible idea for them since Mings has looked sketchy in the air.

villatillidie1980 Posted November 25, 2019 VT Supporter Share Posted November 25, 2019 Grealish has been awesome and Targett decent too. I have I say, Saint-Maximin worries me on the break, but as we saw towards the end of the half, the more they push on, hopefully that allows us the opportunity to create at the other end and score more

You are being unnecessarily negative. Wesley has been great dominating their defenders has been coming deep and linking play up well. He hasn't made runs in behind because we haven't really been in the position to do it too much except for el ghazi and grealish.
kiltorken
El Ghazi has been very good, was surprised Trez was dropped for him but was a great call.

bannedfromHandV
I think the key will be how we/Smith reacts to their inevitable change in approach and formation at some point Typically we haven’t reacted and end up on the back foot

He has done well outside of the box but is a limiting factor in it, needs to do more.

Wesley is dropping deep and dominating the defenders with his strength. Grealish makes everything so much easier for everyone else. Mings and mcginn seemed shaky. Ref has been crap but I'm biased. Hourihane given us what we miss with his cracking set pieces. Yes Wesley is using strength today, what is this sorcery I need to know the spell of strength. He struggles when he gets isolated, he's not quite good enough to do that role on his own yet but in games like today it shows his strengths. Just hope he gets a goal. Laughable Chimp
Mcginn our worst player so far according to whoscored. Can't say I disagree all that much(maybe I'd say Mings). Edit: Actually they both have the same rating now that I looked at Mings' rating again. Edited November 25, 2019 by Laughable Chimp
