Arguably the rest of the league season that when you compare quality of first 11s. Thought Leicester would win 3 or 4 nil.

Still think they'll go down. Pretty much the worst two opponents you could get after a win like that as stops them getting an unbeaten run going.

Lookman's a good player. I think he's on loan there so we could do worse than look at him end of the season.

They play terrible turgid football where they pass it around their 3rd for 90%of the game, they concede for fun and don't score goals but again like Arteta Parker is a young handsome looking guy who dresses well so not a word said.

I thought he underachieved in the Championship tbh and played some absolute dross.

Not that it really matters to me but i always thought Parker had a very freckled face but closer up his skin is quite pock marked.

Square jawed, smart dresser an all but...

One for the boring thread i s'pose....

Well after the way they largely stunk out the place I think its safe to say that their relegation (again) is a victory for football (again).

Used to quite like Fulham now I wish nothing but ill for them.

I yhink fulham could have stayed up if they had a better manager than parker.

His inexperience showed at large parts of the season.

The game that sent them down was the one against us. That lose killed them. We truly had the last laugh after they beat us in play off final

Seeing as they were promoted before us by winning the play offs it's strange seeing how much more we've progressed then they have seeing as we've had a year less. We should be top 10 next year and hopefully European places and they're back in the Championship (again). Makes me very glad for NSWE and Dean.

When was the last time, if ever, that all 3 relegated teams were relegated so early?

I can't remember it ever happening before (I'm sure it has, I just don't recall it)

all 3 going down anyway i think is surprisingly rare, has to be the earliest.

what a dull end to the season...though i seem to remember after the final whistle of west ham last season how nice it would be to have a boring last day

They have a strong chance of going straight back up. I do have some sympathy for the long standing Championship clubs who do not have the parachute payments.

I don't know how Stoke or Boro have not managed  to come back up again in 3 seasons. We just about managed it and were a basket case for 2 of the years.

However if they did scrap them then the relegated clubs would either have to sell all their players or go massively into debt due to the gulf in wages between the 2 divisions.

Not sure what the answer is.

It's not a boring season, but you can't get an exciting relegation battle, title battle and mid table battles.

Relegation is decided, the tile was decided 4 weeks ago, but the fight for European places is really interesting. from 10th to 4th place it can all still change and that means a lot of 'big' teams will miss out on Europe.

Same reason we nearly didn't. They hired Championship "specialists" IE dinosaurs
