The demand we was having last season was similar to the MON years and we were in the championship ffs . Best thing that happened to us going down. It woke the fanbase up. That’s a good following but it’s not a sell out. Last season we were taking 5k to numerous places and it weren’t even making general sale. Except that's not true of the likes of Blackburn, Bolton & Wigan is it? All recent Prem clubs. Even Preston who also gave a big allocation, given we were in the third season in the EFL. Then strangely it started to drop off a bit. MON team's were also better away than at home which may have played a part but it surprised me and certainly stopped Lerner thinking about expanding before he got bored of Villa. Our away support last season, or infact the last three seasons has been the best it has in ages.
