Still love it now, especially the ones with Angus Deayton as the neighbour.

Went to some dark places too, suicide, abuse of the elderly. Tragic in places but always seemed to find a laugh along the way.

Well up there in the discussion for me

Definitely. The fact my parents now resemble Victor and Margaret (personality wise) makes me even fonder of it!

There are so many to choose from. You flockers are funny.

When I was younger, I loved the Goodies, Young Ones, Mr Bean, and Black Adder, and those are the ones that come straight to my mind.

I cant believe there is no love for Little Britain. Brilliant low brow humour.

I was watching clips from it the other day, very good.

Come Fly With Me was also very good.

One of many favourites.  Alien VS Predator twice as good as any movie. :)

Nah. I'm sure they're good (I did like Father Ted), but it just seems like a waste of time watching TV comedy.

Wasting it is far from the worst thing you can do with your time.

Came to this page to mention little Britain. Saw it live on stage, absolutely brilliant! (Special mention to the two pissed up lads dressed as Lou and Andy, fit with wheelchair, after the show. Particularly to Lou who gave Andy a push down the canal slope and straight into the canal. Classic!)

Also watched a few episodes of vicar of Dibley lately, forgot how brilliant it was!

I couldn't remember what it was called. But yeah, that too.

I kinda always put The Day Today and Brass Eye together in my mind. It's the Chris Morris connection. But The Day Today spawned Partridge did it not? Pretty important show then really if it gave us all that and Brass Eye.

In that era I also liked KYTV. (The Euro Quiz sketch stands out in my memory)

I used to watch Drop the Dead Donkey then too. However, mostly because it followed the news of the week (a la Mock the Week + HIGNFY these days) it hasn't aged well at all.
