Dr_Pangloss
Stupid thing to do in the 94th minute. Presumably RDL will be at left back for the next three games, which weakens us for some really key matches.
Vive_La_Villa
Big blow. Has probably been our most consistent player sinced he joined. He really didn't need to do that challenge.
Guest av1
Because my son broke his leg a couple of weeks ago we moved from our ST seats in the Holte to front row of the witton and couldn't really see the challenge. Was it a definite red?

I'm actually a fan of RDL but i fear, looking at team selections so far this season that we will probably see Bjarnason at left back. That would weaken us even more imo. Sadly its not the first time this season, or indeed last season. The standard of officiating in this league is atrocious.
AVTuco Posted September 30, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) Too bad the red somewhat ruined his otherwise good performance today. Edited September 30, 2017 by AVTuco

theboyangel
Silly challenge giving the referee a decision to make. cant see us winning an appeal against this.
Farlz
I don't think that's a straight red. The ref was a shambles today anyway.
OutByEaster? Posted September 30, 2017 Moderator Share Posted September 30, 2017 I don't think it's a red, but I don't think it's obviously not a red to the extent where we'll get it overturned. 1
AshVilla
I don't think it will get rescinded. It's a lunge both feet off the floor both players going for the ball it's dangerous but not a malicious challenge. He had been giving Bolton freebies all day, so it was only ever going to be a red.

For the first 2 days he gave us a cock and bull story about slipping on a crisp packet. He finally admitted he was playing football and didn't want to dop his mate in for a rubbish tackle. Bless him. Johnnyp
Eerily similar in ways to the Coleman tackle. I thought it was a red to be honest. Reckless, no thought put into it.
